Unilever's Beauty and Personal Care Drive 3.9% Q3 Sales Growth Amid Currency Challenges
Unilever reported strong third-quarter 2025 results driven primarily by its Beauty & Wellbeing and Personal Care divisions, with underlying sales growth of 3.9% and total turnover reaching €14.7 billion. The Beauty & Wellbeing segment led growth with a 5.1% increase, fueled by premium brands such as Dove Hair, Vaseline, Liquid I.V., Nutrafol, Hourglass, and K18, while Personal Care grew 4.1%. CEO Fernando Fernandez highlighted continued outperformance in developed markets and a return to growth in emerging regions like China and Indonesia, with plans to complete the demerger of the Ice Cream business by year-end to sharpen focus and improve margins. Despite a 3.5% decline in turnover due to currency fluctuations and disposals, volume growth and pricing increases supported overall sales growth. Unilever’s strategy centers on premiumizing core portfolios, expanding internationally, innovating, and enhancing digital consumer engagement to future-proof the business. The company reaffirmed its full-year guidance for 3%-5% underlying sales growth and improved operating margins, emphasizing strength in beauty, wellbeing, and personal care sectors.
