Ian Evatt Appointed Blackpool Head Coach Amid League One Relegation Battle

Ian Evatt has been appointed as the new head coach of Blackpool on a contract running until June 2028, returning to the club where he made over 250 appearances as a player. He replaces Steve Bruce and inherits a team struggling at the bottom of League One with just nine points from 13 matches. Evatt, who previously managed Bolton Wanderers for four and a half years and achieved success at Barrow by winning the National League title, aims to implement a fearless attacking style and improve the team's fortunes.
