Military Vehicle Crashes Off I-90 Wall Onto Bellevue Roadway, Two Injured

A military Humvee towing a trailer drifted off eastbound Interstate 90 in Bellevue, Washington, and fell approximately 15 to 30 feet over a wall onto Southeast 38th Street below. The trailer jackknifed and landed on top of the vehicle, crushing its cab, but fortunately, no other vehicles were involved and no pedestrians were below at the time. Two people inside the vehicle sustained minor injuries. The Washington State Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident, which occurred near the Eastgate area, but it remains unclear why the vehicle drifted off the road. A yellow-tape marker indicated the vehicle was part of a convoy, though its origin and destination have not been disclosed. Authorities continue to monitor the situation as it develops.
