Miami Secures Commitments from 2025 QB Vinny Gonzalez, DB Jakobe Thomas, RB CharMar Brown

The Miami Hurricanes football program has secured several significant commitments, bolstering both its offense and defense for upcoming seasons. Quarterback Vinny Gonzalez, son of Miami legend Joaquin Gonzalez and a two-time state champion, has committed for the class of 2025, joining a roster that already includes promising QBs Luke Nickel and Emory Williams. On defense, Miami landed Tennessee transfer safety Jakobe Thomas, who brings experience and was one of the top available players in the transfer portal. Additionally, Miami added running back CharMar Brown, the 2024 Jerry Rice Award winner, who recorded over 1,100 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns last season.
