Codi Launches AI Office Manager Automating Corporate Spaces
Codi, an Andreessen Horowitz-backed startup founded in 2018, has launched what it claims to be the first AI-driven platform that fully automates office management tasks, including vendor coordination, scheduling, cleaning, and restocking. Originally a marketplace for flexible office spaces, Codi evolved its platform to automate office logistics regardless of the office leased, aiming to address the inefficiencies and high administrative costs — estimated at $80,000 annually — of traditional office management. The AI system is trained on years of operational data and integrates with vendors to autonomously manage office operations, significantly reducing the need for human oversight. Early adopters such as TaskRabbit, Northbeam, and Atlas have reported substantial time savings, cost reductions of up to 83%, and improved workplace environments, with Codi quickly generating $100,000 in annual recurring revenue shortly after its beta release. The platform is particularly suited to the hybrid work era, where the traditional office manager role has diminished or changed, providing companies a scalable, cost-effective solution to facility management. Codi's CEO, Christelle Rohaut, envisions a future where offices can largely run themselves through AI coordination with human service providers, fundamentally disrupting facilities management.
