DOJ Investigates Black Lives Matter Leaders Over Alleged $90M Donation Misuse

While the investigation began during the Biden administration, it has gained renewed attention under President Trump's administration. The Black Lives Matter foundation has stated it is not a target of any federal criminal investigation and emphasized its commitment to transparency and accountability. Critics have questioned the foundation’s financial transparency, especially regarding the purchase of a $6 million property in Los Angeles, but no criminal charges have been filed to date. The inquiry also extends to other Black-led organizations involved in the movement's surge during 2020.
