NJ Man Charged with Trafficking Missing Teen

Jerome Anthony Oliver, a 52-year-old from Bayonne, New Jersey, was arrested on the Pennsylvania Turnpike after police found he was trafficking a 17-year-old girl listed as missing and endangered in Missouri. Evidence including condoms, sexually explicit clothing, hotel key cards, cash, and explicit photos was found during the traffic stop. The victim stated Oliver met her six months earlier in Kansas City, provided her with marijuana, money, and gifts, and had sex with her almost daily, sometimes while she was under the influence or asleep. Oliver initially told her she would work as an exotic dancer but later forced her into prostitution, posting online ads offering her for sex. A 19-year-old passenger confirmed the victim's account. Oliver faces charges of trafficking in minors and interfering with the custody of a child, and he is being held without bail pending a preliminary hearing.
