Vivid Seats Launches Lowest Price Guarantee Nationwide

Vivid Seats Inc., an online ticket marketplace operating primarily in the interactive media sector, has introduced a Lowest Price Guarantee program to enhance customer value and satisfaction by promising the best ticket prices through its app. If customers find the same ticket at a lower price on a competitor's site, Vivid Seats will match the price and provide 115% of the difference in site credit, reinforcing its commitment to fans. The initiative is supported by a national marketing campaign in partnership with ESPN, featuring user-generated content and airing on Disney streaming platforms and ESPN sports pages. Despite this customer-focused move, Vivid Seats faces financial challenges, including a declining revenue trend over recent years and negative net margins, although it maintains a strong gross margin of around 72%. CEO Stan Chia emphasized that the program strengthens Vivid Seats’ value proposition, aiming to make the platform the most trusted and rewarding destination for live entertainment. The company continues to operate two main segments—marketplace and resale—with the majority of revenue derived from facilitating ticket transactions and related services.
