MLB The Show 25 Releases Key Update, Enhances Multiple Game Modes

MLB The Show 25 received a significant update on May 2, introducing various gameplay and mode improvements across PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. The patch addressed issues such as frame rate drops with runners on base, incorrect awarding of wins and ELO in Co-Op mode, and improved the process for forfeiting in head-to-head matches. Notable gameplay changes include tweaks to GOAT difficulty—reducing penalties for low and away pitches and refining batter stride timing for realism. Diamond Dynasty saw bug fixes for reward calculations, and a roster attribute update led to the cancellation and refunding of marketplace orders that no longer fit new player item ratings. Additionally, 14 player models were updated, and the 2025 Chicago White Sox City Connect uniforms were added. Franchise mode and created player experiences were also refined, fixing stat display issues and adding debut patches for new players.
