Kim Sei-young clinches 13th LPGA win at BMW Ladies Championship in South Korea

Kim Sei-young won the BMW Ladies Championship on the LPGA Tour in Haenam, South Korea, finishing with a 24-under 264 total and securing her 13th career LPGA victory. She led wire-to-wire, overcoming early nerves on the final day with a strong five-under 67 round, including six birdies, to finish four strokes ahead of Japan's Nasa Hataoka. This victory marked Kim's first LPGA win since 2020, ending a five-year title drought, and it was her first triumph on home soil. Throughout the tournament, Kim demonstrated remarkable consistency and composure, despite the pressure, and credited her winter training for improving her shot and putting performance. Other notable performances included South Korea's Kim A-rim and France's Celine Boutier tying for third place, while American Brooke Matthews and Hyo Joo Kim were also competitive early in the event.
