Leeds Rhinos secure loan deal for winger Elliot Wallis from Huddersfield Giants

Leeds Rhinos have signed 24-year-old winger Elliot Wallis from Huddersfield Giants on a one-month loan to address a series of injuries among their outside backs, including long-term absences for Maika Sivo and Ryan Hall. Wallis, who scored seven tries in 15 Super League appearances last season but has seen limited playing time this year, is expected to provide much-needed cover and depth for the squad. Sporting director Ian Blease emphasized the move as an opportunity for Wallis to impress the coaching staff, with the player set to train with the team and likely feature for the Rhinos reserves next week. Wallis is unlikely to play in the upcoming Magic Weekend game but hopes to rejuvenate his Super League career during this loan period.
