Fatal Crashes Leave One Dead, 16 Injured Across Los Angeles, Anaheim, San Fernando Valley

A high-speed multi-vehicle crash on Roscoe Boulevard in the San Fernando Valley resulted in nine people being injured, with two in serious condition and five others sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. The collision, which took place shortly after 9 p.m., involved three vehicles, including a white van that was struck from behind by a speeding car captured on dashcam video. The car spun out of control following the impact, resulting in a large debris field and significant damage to several vehicles. Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived promptly to provide medical assistance, transporting the seriously injured to the hospital. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash, considering factors such as high speed, alcohol, or drugs. No arrests have been reported at this time.
