Sold-Out Kauai Chocolate and Coffee Festival Draws Crowds

New cafés from Chattanooga to Oakland and Nevada City to Painesville are spotlighting regional and cultural coffee and food traditions, including Cafe del Sur’s Mexican-inspired specialty lattes, Oakland’s Olivia Coffee & Flower with fruit-and-flower–infused drinks and a planned floral shop, Nevada City’s Crazy Horse Saloon & Grill offering elevated bar food and live music, and Painesville Township’s Blu Bee Cafe featuring Middle Eastern pastries and signature lattes. On Kauai, the Chocolate and Coffee Festival sold out passport tickets, drew vendors and crowds statewide, showcased local producers such as Kauai Chocolate Company, and relied on volunteers to run the event. The festival’s sellout highlighted strong local demand for island chocolate and coffee producers.
