Rosalía Announces November 7 Release of Orchestral Album Lux Featuring Björk, Carminho

Rosalía has announced her highly anticipated new album, Lux, set for release on November 7, 2025, following her acclaimed 2022 album Motomami. The announcement was made with a striking visual reveal in Times Square, New York, and a public event in Madrid's Callao Square, where she also unveiled the album cover and key details. Lux was recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Daníel Bjarnason, and features collaborations with notable artists such as Björk, Carminho, Estrella Morente, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Yahritza, Yves Tumor, and the boys choir Escolania de Montserrat i Cor Cambra Palau de la Música Catalana. The album is structured into four movements and includes 18 tracks in physical editions, blending operatic and intimate sounds to explore themes of feminine mystique, transformation, and transcendence. Rosalía's marketing campaign hints at a sonic shift toward more electronic elements, referencing the Berlin techno club Berghain, and reflects a deeply emotional and artistic evolution.
