Several golf tournaments recently highlighted upcoming and established talent across various levels and states. The LC State Men’s Golf team finished second at their fall invitational, with notable performances by Luke West, Lucas Ortega, and Sondre Andresen, who earned all-tournament honors. In Pennsylvania, two high school golfers, Carson Kittsley and Mya Morgan, made history by winning back-to-back PIAA state championships, with Kittsley becoming only the third WPIAL boys golfer to do so since 1935. Missouri’s Page Bowman secured her third consecutive Class 4 Girls State Golf Championship, joining an elite group of golfers in the state’s history. Lemont High School freshman Sarah Scott made school history by becoming the first girls' golf all-state performer, finishing sixth at the IHSA Class 2A State Finals. Additionally, senior Chase Yenser of Daniel Boone placed fourth at the PIAA individual golf tournament at Penn State, demonstrating strong regional performances.
