At least 19 injured in Cambridgeshire fire engine-bus crash

A collision involving a fire engine and two guided buses occurred on April 16 on B1050 Station Road between Longstanton and Willingham in Cambridgeshire, resulting in at least 16 to 19 people injured, including children. Emergency services, including multiple ambulances, hazardous area response teams, and air ambulances, responded to the scene, with up to 11 people transported to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, one with serious injuries. Several other patients were treated at the scene for less serious injuries. The incident led to the closure of B1050 Station Road in both directions, causing bus diversions and significant local disruption.
