UNF Breaks Ground on $40M Student Success Center Centralizing Campus Services

The University of North Florida (UNF) has begun construction on a new Student Success Center, expected to open by mid-2027, designed to consolidate essential academic and support services under one roof. The three-story, 60,000-square-foot building will include academic advising, career services, tutoring, supplemental instruction, writing and math help centers, collaborative study spaces, lounges, and a full-sized Chick-fil-A, aiming to enhance student success and provide a vibrant hub for academic excellence. The project, supported by state legislative funding, reflects a strategic commitment to student achievement and community collaboration, with UNF President Moez Limayem and local legislators playing key roles in securing resources. Architecturally, the exterior will blend existing campus elements and modern stone aesthetics, while the interior design symbolizes the campus's unique biodiversity. The center is expected to become a central, technology-enabled gathering place for students, further enriching the campus experience.
