Indian Celebrities to Shine at 2025 Met Gala

The 2025 Met Gala will take place on May 5 at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, highlighting the theme 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,' which celebrates Black fashion and cultural artistry. Bollywood actress Kiara Advani, who is expecting her first child, will debut in a custom Gaurav Gupta gown, while fellow Indian celebrities Shah Rukh Khan (in Sabyasachi), Diljit Dosanjh, and veteran attendee Priyanka Chopra Jonas (in Balmain) are also expected. The event will feature around 600 attendees, including athletes and top designers. International stars such as Miley Cyrus, Sabrina Carpenter, and Anne Hathaway are slated to join the festivities. Co-chairs for this year's gala include Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, and Pharrell Williams. Kiara Advani's participation, facilitated by her mentor Ashvini Yardi, marks a significant moment for Indian fashion at the global event.
