Poland Avenue Youngstown Ohio closes 9 days for railroad crossing rebuild

During this period, local traffic will be maintained, with detours primarily routed via Interstate 680 at Cooper Street and Homewood Avenue, and trucks will be temporarily permitted on the detour route. Additionally, over 300 FirstEnergy customers in Pleasant Grove experienced a power outage after a car struck a utility pole, with power expected to be restored by 11 a.m. on the day of the incident. The downed power lines were found still suspended and posed no public safety risk.
