Housekeeping Staffer Arrested for Raping Student

A housekeeping staff member at a private school in Noida has been arrested for allegedly raping a three-year-old girl on school premises on October 9. The incident was reported after the child's parents noticed her unusual behavior and took her to a doctor, who identified injuries consistent with sexual assault. The girl later disclosed to her parents that a man at the school had 'pricked' her private parts, leading to severe pain. The accused, who had been contracted a few months prior, was arrested on October 10 and is charged under the POCSO Act. The school management stated that no evidence was found in CCTV footage and emphasized their commitment to safety and cooperation with the investigation. Authorities are also scrutinizing the school's management in connection with the case.
