Jessica Biel, Elizabeth Banks Lead 'The Better Sister'

Prime Video's The Better Sister, based on Alafair Burke's novel, is an eight-episode thriller starring Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks as estranged sisters Chloe and Nicky. Chloe (Biel), a successful executive, lives with her husband Adam (Corey Stoll) and son Ethan (Maxwell Acee Donovan) until Adam is discovered murdered, unraveling their lives. Nicky (Banks), Adam's ex-wife and Ethan's biological mother, returns to the family as both sisters become suspects in the investigation led by detectives played by Kim Dickens and Bobby Naderi. The series explores addiction, stolen identities, and the impact of media scrutiny, with suspicion even falling on Ethan. The cast also features Matthew Modine, Lorraine Toussaint, Gloria Reuben, and Gabriel Sloyer, with Biel and Banks additionally serving as executive producers. The Better Sister premieres on Prime Video on May 29.
