Addison Ice Cream Shop Owner Faces Civil Lawsuit for Alleged Secret Filming Teens

Steven Weisberg, owner of the Flavor Frenzy ice cream shop in Addison, Illinois, is facing multiple civil lawsuits filed by 11 teenage former employees alleging he secretly filmed them undressing in the shop's bathroom and engaged in sexual harassment, including inappropriate touching and manipulation. The plaintiffs, aged 14 to 17, accuse Weisberg of coercing them to change clothes in the bathroom while secretly videotaping them, asking them to take an online "purity test," and offering alcohol and marijuana gummies. Weisberg also allegedly withheld wages and maintained personal, exploitative relationships with the minors. Criminally, Weisberg has been charged with numerous counts of child pornography and unauthorized video recording and is currently held in DuPage County Jail awaiting trial. Plaintiffs' attorney Antonio Romanucci described the situation as a betrayal of the innocent environment the ice cream shop ostensibly provided, highlighting the exploitation and harm caused to the teenage workers.
